On Friday October 17 we will visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art for a talk with Imani Roach, Director of the Brind Center for African and African Diasporic Art on the current exhibit, Head to Toe: African and Asian Wearables. After our talk we will walk to the PMA Perelman building to have a tour of the Dorrance H. Hamilton Center for Costume and Textiles. We will follow these events with a visit to a local (within walking distance) restaurant to gather for conversation and lunch. Visit the website for more information.
